While wrens slot into second place behind the robin on the list of Brits favourite birds, there is no doubt they are well liked and often spotted at this time of year. And families have been asked to help them to thrive in your garden over the next few months. ‌

Food sources for the plump little birds start to dwindle as insect numbers fall and wild berries which they are partial to also disappear. ‌

But experts at Ark Wildlife say there are some ways householders can help wrens which they say are easy
