Glasgow is buzzing with a wide array of food and drinks spots, making it the perfect city for a date night, an evening with pals, or a special occasion meal. But sadly, a popular restaurant is set to close its doors after 10 years.
The Gannet, the fine-dining establishment on Argyle Street in Finnieston , located between the west end and the city centre, has been a favourite among food enthusiasts in Glasgow since it opened 12 years ago.
Peter McKenna, the owner and head chef, announced that the restaurant will cease operations on New Year's Eve. The Gannet, a multi-award-winning restaurant, was previously named the AA's Restaurant of the Year.
