CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. - Travis Decker , the man wanted in the kidnappings and murders of his three daughters, has been found dead.

The Chelan County Sheriff's Office confirmed in a press release Thursday that human remains were found in a remote wooded area south of Leavenworth , believed to be the body of Travis Decker. The remains were located less than a mile from the original crime scene.

While the body has not yet been positively identified, authorities say clothing and other personal items found in the area suggest the remains belong to Decker. The scene is currently being processed, with DNA analysis to follow.
