CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Crews are responding to a hazmat leak early Friday morning, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
The incident was first reported around 3 a.m. on Sept. 19. Charlotte Fire says its crews are currently on the scene of a hazmat leak in the 2700 block of East Independence Boulevard. This is near the BOplex.
Authorities have not said what caused the leak. At this time, traffic is not impacted by the incident.
