Pull out your lederhosen. Ketchum’s Oktoberfest! kicks off today, Friday, Sept. 19, at 4 p.m. with the traditional tapping of the firkin, a small keg. Now spread out in Champions Meadow, formerly Festival Meadow, to accommodate nearly 2,000 attendees, the annual event is a family-friendly affair.

Entertainment includes a lineup of local bands, starting with Gravey Train at 5 p.m. on Friday. The music will begin at noon on Saturday with Up A Creek, followed by Sheep Bridge Jumpers, and Walsy & the Riverdogs. Saturday’s activities also include bouncy houses and face painting for kids
