STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD announced on social media the recovery of a gun and drugs on Staten Island.
Officers Bonello and Lamantia are credited with responding to a 911 call and removing the illegal items from the streets of Staten Island, according to a post on the 121st Precinct X feed, formerly known as Twitter.
The officers are assigned to the 121st Precinct, which serves portions of the North Shore and West Shore of the borough.
A photo attached to the message shows a gun, magazines, and suspected drugs.
