The sportsman’s latest expedition ended when he was eliminated after the fourth round of throws of The World Athletics Championship at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo. Arshad then took to X to express his gratitude over getting so far and thanked his fans for their support.

“Dear Pakistanis, I want to thank each and every one of you for your unwavering support and love throughout the World Athletics Championships,” he wrote. “Although I couldn't achieve the result I had hoped for in the final, I am proud to have represented our nation on the biggest stage. Your prayers, messages, and encouragement mean the world to me. I know I let you all down, but I promise to come back stronger and work even harder to make you proud."
