Parx Racing’s biggest day of the year is here. Saturday’s 15-race card features seven stakes races, headlined by a pair of $1 million Grade 1s – the Pennsylvania Derby for three-year-olds and the Cotillion Stakes for three-year-old fillies.

The 1 1/8-mile Pennsylvania Derby is missing the top two three-year-olds in the country, Sovereignty and Journalism, but has the best of the rest. Baeza, Goal Oriented, Gosger and Magnitude have all finished second or third behind Sovereignty or Journalism this year.

Baeza is the morning line favorite at 2-1. Trained by John Sherriffs and ridden by Hector Berrios, Baeza has finished in the money in each of his last four races with no wins to show for it. He was second to Journalism in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Derby, third behind Sovereignty and Journal
