A MAJOR refereeing error was made during the Philadelphia Eagles' win against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Eagles claimed a 20-17 win against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl LIX rematch last Sunday.

Once again, the Tush Push has caused controversy after the Eagles used it to gain crucial short yardage.

It is a move that has become increasingly difficult to officiate.

This has caused fans to call for the Tush Push to be banned from the league.

NFL vice president of officiating training and development Ramon George has admitted to The Washington Post that mistakes were made.

"Anytime we have this situation we're in short yardage, we know we want to make sure that we officiate these plays," George said. "The offensive team has to be perfect in every aspect."
