Michigan Congressman Tim Walberg and another member of a Congressional committee overseeing labor issues are demanding answers from the UAW about allegations the union mismanaged $80 million in strike funds.

In a Sept. 11 letter addressed to UAW President Shawn Fain, Walberg, R-Tipton, and U.S. Rep. Rick Allen, R-Georgia, want to know who failed to reinvest strike funds liquidated by the union to support its workers during the historic 2023 strike against all three Detroit automakers.
