ROSEMEAD – A 51-year-old man who was found injured in Rosemead was identified by county authorities on Friday.

An undescribed incident was reported Sunday at 2:30 a.m. in the 2500 block of Falling Leaf Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office identified him as Ralph Hernandez. His cause of death is listed as deferred pending further investigation.
