MACON, Ga. — A downtown Macon bar and restaurant will soon be closing its doors, according to a post made by the restaurant.

Vibez Brunch Bar and Grill announced that they'll be having their last day of service next month after four years in Macon.

The bar, located near the intersection of Cherry Street and MLK Jr. Boulevard, will open their doors for the last time on Oct. 19, the post said.

"Our mission was to introduce something new to the area while creating opportunities for others, and together we accomplished both," the bar wrote in a post on Facebook.

The restaurant, which was co-owned by Tennessee Titans player and Central Georgia native Bud Dupree, opened their doors back in July 2021. Along with their bar, the restaurant served sandwiches, elevated late night bar food
