In its first meeting since June, the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices voted to restrict the combined measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chickenpox) vaccine in young children.  ACIP is slated to vote on additional recommendations Sept. 19 that could further alter federal vaccine guidelines.
