Six drivers crashed into rocks that fell from a dump truck on the Dolphin Expressway (State Road 836), leaving them stranded on Friday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol and the affected drivers.
It happened at around 6:20 a.m. in the area of Northwest 17th Avenue, FHP said.
The truck was going west when "its load of rocks became unsecured and fell onto the roadway," authorities said.
Six vehicles that were traveling behind the truck collided into the debris.
No one was injured, but video shows several drivers who pulled over after hitting the unexpected hazard. NBC6
