WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Food lovers in Wichita have a chance to support both local restaurants and the fight against hunger during ICT Restaurant Week, happening Sept. 21–27.
Now in its second year, the weeklong event features more than 30 restaurants to raise money for the Kansas Food Bank.
“It’s a chance for everyone to get out there and celebrate the local businesses that make Wichita so great while also raising money for the Kansas Food Bank,” said Kate Birkhofer, marketing and communications manager for the Kansas Food Bank.
Birkhofer said each participating restaurant will offer a different special for the week.
"Some of them will be doing specialty menu items. Some of them will be doing a percent of their sales, so you can order anything off the menu," she added. "Some of them, t
