Mayor Brandon Johnson has announced the launch of a new website, "Protecting Chicago," aimed at providing residents with centralized information and resources as part of the Protecting Chicago Initiative. The initiative comes in response to increased federal immigration enforcement activities.

"Chicago is developing a national model for cities resisting unconstitutional overreach by the federal government,” said Mayor Brandon Johnson. “The Protecting Chicago website will serve as a one-stop shop for information and resources that ensure every Chicagoan knows their rights. Our continued efforts to protect Chicago from unlawful federal actions are essential to preserving public safety, due process rights, and positive civic engagement.”
