A Pulaski County jury convicted Willie Mott for the deaths of Teangela Tate and her two-month-old son. Mott was also convicted of attempted capital murder for serious injuries that he inflicted on Tate's 16-month-old child, who survived.
The court sentenced Mott to two consecutive life sentences along with 25 additional years in the Arkansas Department of Correction.
In February of 2024, North Little Rock police found Tate and her child dead near the Interstate 440 on-ramp of Highway 165.
