Having made the move from his native Denmark to Derby County's academy as a teenager, Bristol City forward Emil Riis is no stranger to stepping outside his comfort zone for the good of his footballing career.

A loan move to the Netherlands with VVV-Venlo followed before the forward called time on his spell at Pride Park and returned to Randers, where he had originally plied his trade before moving to the Midlands.
