GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Office says its investigation of fraudulent credit card purchases in the county “continues to broaden.”
On Thursday, the sheriff’s office and Seymour police arrested a man suspected of stealing tires from locations throughout Northeast Wisconsin.
Police also executed a search warrant at his home in Green Bay.
What started as an investigation into fraudulent use of credit cards discovered “this was part of a much larger scale operation,” the sheriff’s office said.
Online court records show Cesar Mendoza Mora, 27, was charged Thursday with receiving stolen property valued between $5,000 and $10,000.
The sheriff’s office expects him to be in court on Monday.
