An Oakland County man allegedly posed as a teen and convinced girls to send him pornographic videos of themselves, according to federal court records.
Homeland Security Investigations agents filed a criminal complaint against Brandon Cifani, 29, in federal court in Detroit on Tuesday.
In it, authorities seek to charge him with the sexual exploitation of children, the receipt and possession of child pornography, and the coercion and enticement of minors.
If convicted, he faces 15-30 years in prison for the sexual exploitation of children charge, 5-20 years for the receipt and possession of child pornography, and up to 20 years for the coercion and enticement of minors.
His lawyer with the Federal Community Defender's Office, Rhonda Brazile, was not immediately available for comment.
