Just in time for the autumnal equinox , Saturn will be at opposition, which means Earth will find itself between Saturn and the Sun on Sept. 21, according to NASA .
This means Saturn — the sixth planet from the Sun — will be at its closest and brightest point of the year, making it visible to the naked eye. The best part? Saturn will be up close and personal until early October.
