MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A new solar facility is being built in western Kentucky.

According to the Greater Paducah Economic Development, the 60-megawatt solar facility is being built in McCracken County.

McCracken Solar will be located on 615 acres of private land.

They say it’s expected to generate enough renewable energy to power the equivalent of about 10,000 homes annually.
