EUGENE, Ore. - A 22-year-old man faces serious charges following a police operation in west Eugene, according to the Eugene Police Department.
EPD officials said that Aiden "En" Eugene Slaska was arrested on Sept. 18 after detectives served a search warrant. Slaska is charged with 10 counts of first-degree encouraging child sexual abuse and one count of encouraging sexual assault of an animal. The investigation started when the Oregon Department of Justice's Internet Crimes Against Children task force alerted police about child sex abuse material being uploaded in the area.
Lane County Jail records show that Slaska is in custody as of Sept. 19 awaiting arraignment.
