HOPE, Ark. — A Hope man was sentenced to 144 months in federal prison followed by 10 years of supervised release for distributing child pornography.

Chief Judge Susan O. Hickey presided over the sentencing hearing yesterday in U.S. District Court in Texarkana.

According to court documents, Bradley Hunter Cox, 36, used a social media platform to distribute child pornography to multiple users. The crime was discovered after FBI agents in Washington D.C. found Cox was distributing child pornography to a recipient in their area. Local FBI agents then conducted a search warrant at Cox’s residence and confirmed that he had, in fact, distributed child pornography. Cox later admitted to distributing the files using three separate social media platforms and creating groups for distribution.
