Area high school cross country teams have less than one month remaining until the postseason begins, meaning just a few more chances for student-athletes to fine-tune their times before the races take on extra meaning.

For teams in Celina and Prosper ISD, competing at the district, regional and even state level has become part of the season-long grind, and those programs have been gearing up this fall in some of the most competitive meets in the Metroplex.
