ST. JAMES PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A Convent woman has been ordered to spend the next three decades behind bars after a child sex crimes investigation.
According to District Attorney Ricky Babin’s office, a judge sentenced Destinee Poche, 25, to 30 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections this week after she pleaded guilty to 13 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles and three counts of distribution of pornography involving juveniles.
The charges stem from an investigation that started in May 2024.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) reportedly tipped off Louisiana authorities after receiving a cyber tip containing information regarding the possible possession, manufacture, and distribution of child pornography.
