One year after the fatal shooting that claimed the life of Newnan businesswoman Olivia Robinson, the criminal case against the man accused of killing her remains pending in Coweta County Superior Court.
Robinson, 28, was shot and killed on Sept. 20, 2024, inside Oz Tactical, a downtown Newnan store on East Court Square. Newnan police responded to the scene at 9:17 p.m. and found Robinson dead from a gunshot wound.
The following morning, investigators arrested 38-year-old William Brannon Owens and charged him with malice murder and aggravated assault.
Arrest warrants filed after the incident allege Owens shot Robinson with a handgun, causing her death. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has assisted Newnan police in the case.
