DALLAS — The Cotton Bowl is ready for showtime.
The historic Dallas stadium has wrapped up a major renovation – to the tune of $140 million – just in time for the State Fair of Texas to get underway and a crowd of around 100,000 to flood the stadium for the annual Texas vs. Oklahoma game.
The renovation project, which began in March 2024, included 14 new escalators and renovations of multiple levels of the stadium, including the concourse, concession and restroom areas and luxury seating areas.
