SAN FRANCISCO—Four o’clock in the afternoon and Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 12 noon to four o’clock, Mario will be making a special appearance to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. game at the Nintendo store, located in San Francisco’s downtown Union Square at 331 Powell Street in San Francisco making the iconic character the first in-store appearance in San Francisco.

Customers and fans alike can take photographs with him. There will also be fun activities galore. To get into this event, it is on a first come, first served basis.

San Francisco’s Nintendo location has two levels, and it is 9,000 square feet. It is located inside the Westin St. Francis Hotel.
