WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Wichita police say they have arrested three people after a drive-by shooting at a south Wichita home earlier this week.

Shots were fired into a house in the 2300 block of South Lulu Wednesday evening. A 56-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were inside but were not hurt, police said.

Officers quickly identified a suspect vehicle. The next day, they tracked it to a residence in south Wichita. When the suspects fled, they were tracked with help from the Kansas Highway Patrol’s air unit. Three suspects — a 42-year-old man, a 46-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman — ran but were caught. Police say they also found two handguns.

The two men were booked into jail on aggravated assault and firearm charges. The case has been sent to the district attorney’s office.
