INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Eight Indiana Conservation Officers have joined the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Law Enforcement's team of certified divers after completing schooling and training in Vigo County.
The eight Conservation officers—Kenton Crews, Nina Freund, Caden Graber, Nicholas Hartman, Claire Jenkins, Charles Martin, Dylan Mast and Michael Montgomery—will serve the entire state after graduating from the six-week Public Safety Dive Rescue Specialist School.
The school was based in Terre Haute, and training took place at the Vigo County Aquatics Center and in various bodies of water in Vigo County.
Three of the newly certified divers—Charles Martin (Vigo), Caden Graber (Daviess) and Michael Montgomery (Parke)— are based here in the Wabash Valley.
