MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — WVU Medicine Children's is working to keep West Virginia kids safe and secure by holding a car seat safety check.
On Monday, as part of Child Passenger Safety Week, a child passenger safety technician will be at the E parking lot across from the WVU Medicine Children's to make sure your child's car seat is properly installed.
The event will take place from 4-6 p.m. Those who complete the car seat check will also be entered to win an Evenflo Revolve 360 All-in-One car seat.
"While car crashes remain a leading cause of death for children, using the correct car seat, booster seat, or seat belt reduces the risk of serious injury," a press release from WVU Medicine said.
