LEAVENWORTH, Wash. — A monthslong manhunt for a man charged with three counts of murder and kidnapping for the deaths of his daughters, Paityn, Evelyn and Olivia in Washington may be over.

The Chelan County Sheriff's Office believes it found the remains of Travis Decker in a remote wooded area south of Leavenworth, roughly 100 miles east of Seattle.

"While positive identification has not yet been confirmed, preliminary findings suggest the remains belong to Travis Decker," a statement from the Chelan County Sheriff's Office said.

The manhunt for Travis Decker began in May after he failed to return his three daughters home following a scheduled visit.
