LIVERPOOL, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- The Liverpool Public Library's books are hitting the road.

The library has created the "LPL2GO: Mobile Library." The new set of wheels was designed to bring books, technology, and library services to neighborhoods throughout the community.

The Mobile Library initiative will expand accessibility and eliminate barriers by bringing the library experience directly to neighborhoods, schools, senior centers, apartment complexes, and local events.

“This Mobile Library is a game-changer,” said Director of Liverpool Public Library Susan Reckhow. “It allows us to meet people where they are and extend the reach of our services far beyond the walls of our building.”
