A juvenile and an adult were charged Sept. 18 in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in an apartment parking lot on Aug. 29.

A 16-year-old is charged with criminal homicide and unlawful gun possession. The Tennessean does not name juveniles who are not charged in adult court.

Emerson Depaz-Pangan, 26, is charged with facilitation of criminal homicide and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Police said Ever Domingo-Mazariegos, 25, was involved in an argument with Depaz-Pangan on Aug. 29, according to a Sept. 19 news release.

Police said the 16-year-old later drove Depaz-Pangan to confront Domingo-Mazariegos.

Police said around 8:20 p.m. on Aug. 29, the 16-year-old and Domingo-Mazariegos started shooting at each other. Domingo-Mazariegos suffered multiple gunshot wounds
