QUINCY (WGEM) - Spring cleaning is over, but Quincy residents will have another chance to clear out clutter this fall.
The annual Quincy citywide cleanup takes place from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24 and Thursday, Sept. 25.
An additional drop-off time is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26.
The event will take place at the vacant lot northeast of the Front Street and Payson Avenue intersection.
The cleanup is only open to Quincy residents. Participants need to bring a form of ID or a utility bill to confirm their address is inside city limits.
City officials said electronics, tires, yard waste, household garbage, batteries, chemicals and liquids will not be accepted. More information on the cleanup can be found here .
