These are all terms that local legal professionals used to describe Superior Court of Justice Judge Johanne Lafrance-Cardinal on Thursday. After more than 30 years on the bench in Cornwall, Lafrance-Cardinal removed her scarlet sash during a swearing out and retirement ceremony in front of a packed courtroom at the Cornwall courthouse.
