LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Children will soon get hands-on learning at three new Bezos Academies opening in Louisville.

State, city and school leaders celebrated the opening of the new Bezos Academy- Russell on Friday.

“You all just don’t know how much I know this is going to affect people’s lives,” Lisa Dischinger, co-founder of LDG Development, said.

LDG Development worked with the Louisville Metro Government to bring the preschools to the community.

“The Bezos Academies are going to change lives. Change the lives of kids who are getting an early start on education,” Mayor Craig Greenberg,D-Louisvile, said.
