AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Augusta’s Homeless Task Force is working to meet people where they are and give them the resources they need.

In March, we told you how they unveiled mailboxes so that agencies could get their clients without a permanent address vital documents.

In April, they rolled out a program with one-time bus tickets for those who need to get from point A to point B. And the resources don’t stop there.

The group is now working with United Way to change lives and push people forward.
