Man, 45, fatally shot in St. Louis' Mount Pleasant area

ST. LOUIS — A 45-year-old man was fatally shot Thursday in the 3100 block of Osceola Street in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood, police said.

Police found the victim in the street after being called to the scene. EMS workers took the man to a hospital, were he died.

The incident took place shortly before 1 a.m., police said. The man's name has yet to be released.
