ROCK HILL, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- South Carolina Gamecocks football legend and former Panthers linebacker Jadeveon Clowney was arrested in his hometown last week.
The Rock Hill native was charged with trespassing and failure to identify after officers accused him of illegally parking at an apartment complex. Officers say the alleged offense took place Sept. 12 at the Dunbar Place Apartments across the street from the Rock Hill School District’s football stadium on Constitution Boulevard.
Police records indicate a Rock Hill officer was already present to prevent non-apartment residents from parking there, since the complex manager had told police the issue became worse during games.
