CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — Emotions ran high in a Charleston courtroom Friday as Eric Bowman a Sullivan’s Island businessman accused of multiple crimes including harassment, stalking, and domestic violence appeared for a bond hearing and a bond revocation hearing.
Bowman was arrested in August in connection with an alleged domestic dispute dating back to 2016. He is also facing separate charges involving allegations that he placed a tracking device on his estranged wife’s car.
During Friday’s hearing, Bowman’s estranged wife gave emotional testimony, describing the pain she says she endured during their relationship. Bowman’s attorney, Chris Adams, argued that the allegations have negatively impacted his client’s life and urged the judge to release him on bond.
