DEWITT, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- An overnight lane closure will take place along Interstate 481 in the Town of DeWitt.

The New York State Department of Transportation is alerting drivers that I-481 northbound will be reduced to one lane between Exit 3E (Fayetteville) and Exit 4 (I-690/Syracuse) from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., on weeknights, beginning Monday, September 22, to Saturday, September 27, to facilitate the installation of overhead sign structures and paving operations as part of the Interstate 81 Viaduct Project.

Construction activities are weather-dependent and subject to change based on conditions.
