PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WILX) - A man described by police as a “high-level drug trafficker” was arrested in Calhoun County earlier this week.
The suspect, a 37-year-old Battle Creek man, was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 18 on the 600 block of Garrison Avenue in Pennfield Township.
The man was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute over 500 grams of cocaine, possession of heroin and fentanyl, maintaining a drug house and a bond violation.
The investigation is still underway.
Michigan State Police, The Southwest Enforcement Team, and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) collaborated on the case.
