WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - A runaway dog is recovering after she was rescued by an animal control officer (ACO) on Thursday night, according to the Williamson County Animal Center.
WCAC stated that ACOs were notified of a dog stuck in a hole and possibly injured at approximately 7 p.m. on Thursday. The dog had also reportedly bitten a first responder who tried to help her.
When the ACO arrived, she was able to safely and calmly remove the dog from the hole without further incident.
