A 51-year-old man who was found dead in Rosemead was identified by county authorities Friday.

The incident was reported Sunday at 2:30 a.m. and occurred in the 2500 block of Falling Leaf Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The victim, identified by the County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner as Ralph Hernandez, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

There was no other immediate information available.
