SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WOIO) - The Cleveland Clinic is having a Brain Aneurysm Run on Saturday at 8 a.m.

It’s in the Rocky River Reservation, starting at the South Mastick Picnic Area in the MetroParks.

Ebony Richardson will be leading the race.

In July, her aneurysm ruptured, scaring not only her, but her family and friends. Richardson told 19 News she passed out at a party setting off the tragic discovery.

“My legs felt like water,” said Richardson.

According to the Cleveland Clinic 6 to 7 million people experience an unruptured aneurysm every year.

Richardson had to undergo several surgeries and a craniotomy.

She tells 19 News her recovery has been tough but she’s one of the lucky ones.

“I love to cook for family and friends and I couldn’t do it at first,” said Richardson.
