RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - A beloved fall favorite festival is returning to the River City.
St. Benedict Oktoberfest will kick off in the Museum District to celebrate the roots and richness of German culture.
The event’s history dates back to when St. Benedict was established by the Benedictine monks who staffed St. Mary’s German Catholic Church in downtown Richmond.

Since then, the festival has been a huge success, with proceeds supporting Catholic education.
