Fairfax County Backs the Proposal
This week, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors gave its support to the project, endorsing its continued exploration. The county, which has jurisdiction over the Virginia portion of the road, views the express lanes as a potential solution to severe traffic congestion.
Fairfax County's Mount Vernon Supervisor Dan Storck expressed conditional support but only if: “(The project) deals with som
