U.S. Rep. Morgan McGarvey, Kentucky's lone Democrat in Congress, was one of 98 party members to vote in favor of a resolution to honor Charlie Kirk.

McGarvey said he opposed Kirk's rhetoric but doesn't have to agree with someone to “unequivocally condemn political violence."

The only Kentucky Democrat in U.S. Congress was among the party's contingent who voted in favor of a resolution aimed at "honoring the life and legacy" of controversial conservative activist Charlie Kirk , who was shot and killed Sept. 10 at a public forum.
